The Bianconeri’s upcoming Champions League opponents Barcelona will go in search of their second silverware of the season when they take on Athletic Bilbao in Saturday evening’s Copa del Rey final at the Nou Camp.

Having wrapped up their 23rd La Liga success with a game to spare a fortnight ago, Luis Enrique’s men will be looking to do a domestic double against a side who last tasted Copa del Rey success in 1984.

The Catalans, who sealed the title with a streak of 12 wins in 14 games, are clear bookmakers’ favourites for the final, although Bilbao head into the showdown on a decent run of form themselves, having sewn up a seventh-placed finish courtesy of a run of just four defeats in their last 20 matches.

Luis Suarez is expected to make his return after spending the last two weeks on the sidelines, while Bilbao forward Aritz Aduriz, who has 10 goals from his previous 11 appearances, will provide the attacking threat for Ernesto Valverde’s men.
