The 6th of January is a date Teodoro certainly won't be forgetting in a hurry.
Shortly before Juventus v Inter kicked off, the Premium International Member from Belo Horizonte, Brazil had the honour of placing the J-Member player of the month gong for December into the hands of Gianluigi Buffon.
The 'MVP powered by Hanwha' prize went to Gigi after he picked up the most votes from J-Members on Juventus.com. The fans' choice is a reminder that it's not just the goalscorers who have key roles to play: it's also about the men who keep them out at the other end of the field.
After years admiring Gigi's heroics from the other side of the globe, Teodoro finally had the opportunity to meet the veteran shotstopper in person. And on behalf of all J-Members, he handed over an award that confirms once again just how highly rated the Italy keeper is.
Teodoro will head back to Brazil with the images of those few emotional minutes still racing through his mind – images that will remain etched in his memory for a lifetime.
