Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio became the latest member of the Bianconeri’s first-team squad to take part in the club’s highly successful #Ask… series on Twitter earlier this afternoon.

The midfielder – who this week celebrated his 29th birthday – provided supporters with an insight into his life on and off the pitch as he answered their burning questions on the popular social media site.

Inundated with a plethora of messages that ranged from pre-match rituals, nicknames and his three favourite films, there was something for everyone in today’s exclusive virtual chat.

Here’s a bitesize look at the best of #AskMarchisio:

Sporting his own beard style during this afternoon’s session, one supporter asked the midfielder if he had copied Andrea Pirlo in growing a bit of facial hair. But Claudio quickly refuted that claim.

.@pazzidomo No, it’s all the rage now. Maybe the clean-cut look could come back into fashion again in a few years! #AskMarchisio

Having risen through the Bianconeri youth ranks, made his debut in 2006 before becoming a mainstay of a Juventus side who have won three consecutive Serie A titles, Marchisio was then quizzed on three words to describe the club he has been a part of for the best part of 22 years.

.@angelicaacm8 Three words to describe Juventus? Success, family and history. #AskMarchisio

Of his 33 strikes he has scored in the famous black and white jersey to date, there was one particular goal that lives long in the 29-year-old’s memory.

.@97Dedda Even though we lost, I do agree that my best goal for the club was the bicycle kick against Udinese in 2011. #AskMarchisio

Following Paul Pogba’s star turn in the recent #PogDance video, one supporter demanded Marchisio to show the world his moves. However, he was having none of it.

.@annaclarice Sorry to disappoint but there’ll be no #PogDance from me… Maybe I'll sing but don't get your hopes up! #AskMarchisio

Instead, the midfielder cleared his airwaves and took part in what has become a customary tradition for the players by singing ‘Storia Di Un Grande Amore’.

.@Aleejm8 Right let's have a go at 'Storia Di Un Grande Amore' then...
