The reigning champions continued their focus towards Saturday’s Serie A curtain raiser in Verona during the second of Monday’s double workout at Juventus Center.
While Massimiliano Allegri was forced to miss out on today’s preparations due to the flu, there was no let up in concentration, with his right-hand man Marco Landucci and backroom staff ensuring the Bianconeri were kept on their toes from start to finish.
After enjoying lunch at the club’s Vinovo complex, Juventus bolstered this morning’s fitness work with a number of sprints and directional changes upon their return to the training ground - a useful ‘refresher’ session that was subsequently rounded off by interval training.
The ball was then introduced to proceedings, with the Bianconeri tackling a variety of tactical and technical drills designed to get them fully up to speed for Saturday’s clash against Chievo.
Preparations will resume when Allegri’s men return to Juventus Center tomorrow morning.
