A spirited performance by already-crowned Scudetto winners Juventus in Milan enabled them to overturn Mauro Icardi’s early opener and seal a 2-1 success through strikes from Claudio Marchisio and Alvaro Morata.

The victory continued their strong run against Inter, who have just one triumph to their name from the last 10 meetings with the Bianconeri (six wins and three draws for Juventus).

While the hosts enjoyed more ball possession (65 per cent) and completed a greater amount of passes (630 vs 326), they were often found lacking in precision with their final ball.

This enabled a clinical Juventus to take advantage and extend an unbeaten run against Inter at the San Siro that stretches back to April 2010.
