After making their triumphant return from Naples following last night’s 3-1 victory over the Partenopei, Juventus were back at work this afternoon, looking to build on their first victory of the calendar year by getting their Coppa Italia campaign off to a winning start against Hellas Verona in the competition's last 16 phase on Thursday.

The traditional post-match routine was once again out in force: those who featured in Sunday’s win underwent a warm-down, while the remainder of the squad were joined for a fitness session by Massimiliano Allegri and two members of his backroom staff, Aldo Dolcetti and Maurizio Trombetta.

The coaching trio resumed their duties when the ball came into play, guiding the players through a series of technical exercises aimed at sharpening up their skills.

Work will continue tomorrow afternoon, when Allegri is expected to run a full group through their penultimate preparations for this week’s Coppa Italia bow against the Gialloblu.
