Paolo Silvio Mazzoleni has been named referee for the Bianconeri’s Serie A meeting with Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris on Wednesday evening.

The 40-year-old has previously taken charge of 13 games involving the Bianconeri (12 of those in Serie A) and Juventus’ record under his tutelage reads eight victories, four draws and a solitary defeat.

The Bergamo-born official oversaw the corresponding fixture from last season in March 2014 when Gigi Buffon not only equalled Dino Zoff for his 476 appearances at the club but also saved Emanuele Calaiò’s spot-kick in a 1-0 victory.

Mazzoleni will be flanked in Liguria by assistant referees Manganelli and Posado, goal-line officials Rizzoli and Baracani and fourth official Galloni.
