Paul Pogba’s impressive displays with France at the World Cup have seen him crowned FIFA’s Young Player of the tournament.

Although Les Bleus were knocked out by eventual winners Germany in the quarter finals, Pogba’s performances did not go amiss for the on-watching public.

After having captained the young French side to victory in last year’s U-20 World Cup, Pogba’s step up to the full national side at the most prestigious football tournament on the planet was nothing short of spectacular.

The Frenchman was the midfield metronome at the heart of Didier Deschamps’ side, displaying the combative spirit and creative guile which have characterised his first two seasons in Turin.

Juventus’ midfielder made five appearances, of which four were starts, contributing an assist against Switzerland in the group stages, as well as the decisive winning goal during the last-16 tie against Nigeria.

Pogba adds this accolade to the illustrious Golden Boy award he won in December 2013 and everyone at Juventus Football Club wishes to congratulate the Frenchman on his latest feat.
