Gianluca Rocchi has been named referee for Sunday evening’s top of the table clash with Roma at Juventus Stadium.
The Florence-born official has previously overseen 25 fixtures involving the Bianconeri (23 of those in Serie A) and Juventus’ record under his tutelage in Italy’s top flight currently stands at 18 victories, two draws and three defeats.
This will be the first time the 41-year-old has refereed a match between Sunday’s opponents at Juventus Stadium having previously overseen the last four encounters between the two in Italy’s capital.
During those contests, Juventus recorded three wins and a defeat at the Stadio Olimpico.
Rocchi will be aided in Turin by assistant referees Faverani and Stefani, goal-line officials Damato and Banti and fourth official Bianchi.
