Arturo Vidal completed 45 minutes as Chile romped to a 5-0 Copa America Group A victory over Bolivia on Friday evening.

The 28-year-old was replaced by Matias Fernandez at the break with the tournament hosts 2-0 up courtesy of strikes from Charles Aranguiz and Alexis Sanchez.

Aranguiz then bagged his second and La Roja’s third midway through the second half, before Gary Medel and a Ronald Raldes own goal rounded off the scoring at the Estadio Nacional.

The result means Chile top the standings on seven points, three ahead of Bolivia, and will now face the best third-placed side from either Group B or C in the competition’s knockout phase.

Tonight brings the turn of Carlos Tevez and Roberto Pereyra’s already-qualified Argentina who lock horns with Jamaica.

A victory for La Albiceleste could see them win the group if Paraguay drop points against Uruguay in Saturday’s other contest.
