Alex Sandro: "Playing to win"

Alex Sandro says he has joined an ambitious team in Juventus and is looking forward to improving every aspect of his game in Turin.

Speaking to Sky earlier today, he began: “At Juventus we play to win every competition we’re part of. I’m working to improve and I’ve got the opportunity to do so here, both in defence and from a tactical perspective.”

Helping the Brazilian in his bid to push on in his career is a man he shares the left-back duties with, Patrice Evra, whom he cited as a role model.

“I’m training with great players here, such as Evra, whose career I’ve followed since he played for Manchester United. I’m a big fan of his and it’s an honour to work alongside him.”
