Andrea Barzagli expressed his disappointment at the team’s failure to come away from tonight’s Serie A encounter against Frosinone with all three points.

The defender believes the Bianconeri should have ridden out the closing stages with greater maturity and lamented the concession of a corner that ultimately enabled the visitors to find their way back into the game.

Speaking to reporters in Turin, Barzagli said: “We didn’t see out the final stages well. It’s a pity to concede from a corner on 93 minutes and a bitter pill to swallow.

“Our first-half performance was a little under par, but we fashioned several chances to score after the break. We lacked that little bit of spark, but we only have ourselves to blame for conceding from that corner.”
