Giacomelli in charge for Carpi

Sunday’s meeting between Carpi and Juventus (kick-off 12.30 CET), the Old Lady’s final Serie A fixture of the calendar year, is to be officiated by Piero Giacomelli, the 60th of his career.

While Giacomelli has never crossed paths with this weekend’s hosts in the league before, he has taken charge of three Juve encounters in the past, with the Bianconeri winning all of them.

The 38-year old will be joined by assistant referees Gianluca Vuoto and Sergio Ranghetti, fourth official Giulio Dobosz and additional goal-line officials Paolo Valeri and Renzo Candussio.
