Presented to the Bianconeri just over two weeks ago on 8 August in the Shanghai Stadium, Juventus’ record seventh Italian Super Cup has arrived at its final destination, the Juventus Museum, courtesy of Massimiliano Allegri.
Super Cup arrives home at Juventus Museum
The trophy made its last public appearance at Juventus Stadium on Sunday evening before the Bianconeri’s opening fixture with Udinese, having been paraded to the fans at Villar Perosa last Wednesday.
Juve’s prize for their 2-0 win over Lazio in China now finds itself in excellent company, taking its place alongside last season’s Scudetto and tenth Coppa Italia.
As Allegri handed over the trophy to museum president Paolo Garimbeti, the Tuscan turned the page on the latest chapter in the club’s history.
And as the new season begins, the Bianconeri boss will hope to be back in the same position a year from now, toasting another Juventus success.
