The U17s kicked off proceedings against Empoli, who provided stern opposition and took the lead courtesy of Filippo Chiti’s strike at the start of the second-half. But the Bianconeri responded well, as Moise Kean Bioty’s quickfire double in the 70th and 75th minutes sealed all three points for Felice Tufano’s men.
Next up were the U15s, who recorded a 4-0 win over Pavia, in which four different goalscorers found the target. Alessandro Vergnano opened the scoring early on before Giuseppe Leone doubled the hosts’ lead in the 25th minute to put them in a commanding position at half-time. Goals from Ibrahima Diallo and Andrea Volpatto in the second period then wrapped up an emphatic win for Davide Cei’s young guns.
