Tevez goal nominated for FIFA Puskas Award

Carlos Tevez’s superb individual run and finish last November against Parma has been nominated by FIFA for this year’s Puskas Award.

The Argentine forward won the ball in his own half and dribbled his way past three defenders before keeping his cool to net the Bianconeri’s fourth in a 7-0 win at Juventus Stadium.

Voted by football’s world governing body among the best ten goals to be scored between 27 September 2014 and 23 September this year, the shortlist is due to be whittled down to a top three on 30 November and the winner will be announced on 11 January 2016 at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Zurich.
