A 100 per cent record to defend in Manchester, a home bow in Sevilla and a journey north in search of a first win of the season for Monchengladbach all feature in Juventus.com’s first UCL rivals weekend preview of the new Champions League campaign.

The Old Lady’s first opponents on 15 September, Manchester City, have come flying out of the traps in their first three Premier League fixtures.

Away wins at West Brom and Everton either side of an impressive 3-0 victory over Chelsea have made Manuel Pellegrini’s side the team to beat in the early stages of the new season as they sit top of the table with nine points.

As a result, the Blues host Quique Flores’ Watford on Saturday hoping to preserve their flawless start. The Spaniard’s newly promoted side though are also unbeaten so far, registering three draws.

Over in southern Spain, Sevilla return to the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan for their first home encounter of 2015/16 as they host fellow Champions League outfit Atletico Madrid.

After an opening day 0-0 stalemate with Malaga last Friday, the Andalusians will have their first three points of the season on the agenda in two days’ time.

Heading north, Borussia Monchengladbach will round off Matchday two in the Bundesliga as they travel to Werder Bremen on Sunday afternoon.

Last season’s third placed outfit will be looking to right the wrongs of their opening day home defeat to Mainz (1-2) and enter the international break with a first win under their belts.
