Alex Sandro is confident that the Bianconeri faithful can look forward to seeing even more from him as he fully adjusts to his new environment.

Since making a summer move from Porto the Brazilian has enjoyed a scintillating start to life in the black and white stripes but insists that with the continued guidance of Massimiliano Allegri, the best is yet to come.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, he said: “The style of Italian football and of Juventus has helped me a lot and will continue to help me. I believe that by following the instructions of Allegri and the team itself I will be able to keep improving.”

Helping the 24-year-old to settle into his new surroundings has been the club’s South American contingent, who have made his transition from Portugal to Italy a smooth one.

“We’re coming together as a family and this is also helping us out on the pitch. Having South American team-mates is always a bonus, because the language and culture are more similar. We like hanging out together both in the dressing room and during our free time.

“I’m happy here in Turin and used to living in Europe. It’s a beautiful city that’s welcoming for tourists and those who come from different countries.”
