Moments after Massimiliano Allegri was discussing the importance of another three points on home turf tomorrow evening, the Tuscan’s counterpart Marco Giampaolo was outlining just how his Empoli side intend to stop the Bianconeri from doing just that in his own pre-match media meeting.
Previewing a “testing 90 minutes” for his team, Giampaolo commented: “All we can do is believe in our own abilities and go into the game in the knowledge that nothing is impossible in football. Juventus are a physical and ruthless outfit who will look to attack from the first whistle. We won’t be heading to Turin to make up the numbers though, that’s for sure.”
