Juan Cuadrado singled out Juventus’ psychological approach as the key factor behind their convincing 4-1 win over Sampdoria at Juventus Stadium on Wednesday night.
“Our mentality was spot on,” said Cuadrado, speaking after the game. “We all felt it as a team and I think we need to make sure we play with that level of determination in every game, starting on Saturday.”
Saturday, as it happens, is no ordinary clash, as Juventus welcome Napoli to Turin.
“Every game we play is tough,” admitted the Colombian. “Right now we can enjoy this win, but then we need to turn the page straight away.”
Finally, Cuadrado acknowledged that he was enjoying his football out on the right wing.
“I try to do what Allegri asks me to, which is to stay as wide as possible, look to find the strikers and create chances for them to score.”
