An Argentine double to see off the Argentinians! This was the story of today's winning beginning for Fabio Grosso's Primavera in the Viareggio Cup this afternoon as Guido Vadal's brace earned a pleasing 2-0 victory over Deportivo Camioneros.

After making little headway in a goalless and evenly matched first half, Juve's increase in tempo after the break reaped immediate rewards, Vadala tapping home from close range on 47 minutes after Nicolo Pozzebon's shot had cannoned back off the upright.

One became two moments later courtesy of the same combination in a flurry of action that ultimately took the tie beyond the reach of Deportivo: Pozzebon's burst into the box was illegally halted by the dismissed Piriz and Vadala netted from the spot to double his tally for the day.

Things would go from bad to worse for the South Americans who lost their cool in the game's unsavoury final quarter, ending the game with eight men following further red cards for Juarez and Berches.

The perfect start then for the Bianconeri who are back in action on Wednesday as they take on Crotone before rounding off their group stage campaign against American side L.I.A.C New York on Saturday.
