Russo to oversee Genoa clash

Carmine Russo will oversee Wednesday evening’s 20.45 CET kick-off against Genoa at Juventus Stadium.

The referee, who hails from Avellino, will take charge of his ninth fixture involving the Old Lady in Italy’s top flight, with the Bianconeri’s record under his stewardship currently reading five victories and three draws.

The latest of these matches came in February 2015, when Massimiliano Allegri’s men were held to a 2-2 draw away to Cesena.

Russo will be joined on Wednesday by assistant referees Andrea Marzaloni and Giacomo Paganessi, fourth official Filippo Valeriani and goal-line officials Maurizio Mariani and Fabio Maresca.
