After being given Monday off to recharge the batteries, the Bianconeri returned to training on Tuesday fully refreshed and raring to go again ahead of Friday evening’s visit of Sassuolo.

The Neroverdi won October’s fixture between the two sides, leaving Juventus in 11th place after ten matches. Since that night in Reggio Emilia, Massimiliano Allegri’s men have picked up 52 from a possible 54 points to shoot up to Serie A’s zenith.

Eager to tighten their grip on top spot between now and the season’s end, the players worked tirelessly this afternoon, following up fitness drills with a series of exercises honing their skills in passing, possession and winning the ball back. Paul Pogba did not take part in today’s workout after being granted a day of leave.

The Bianconeri will return to training tomorrow morning to step up their preparations for Friday’s outing at Juventus Stadium.
