While the weather has left much to be desired of late in Piedmont, those who braved the conditions to support the Under 17s on Sunday afternoon in Vinovo were treated to a goal-fest and supreme all-round performance during their 6-0 thrashing of Pro Vercelli.

Felice Tufano’s charges established a commanding 2-0 lead by the break courtesy of goals from Moussa Ndiaye and Massimo N’Cede Goh. Moise Bioty Kean then struck two minutes after the interval to trigger a second half of sheer superiority over the visitors, with the forward completing his brace following strikes by Leonardo Merio and Fabrizio Caligara.

Having fallen 1-0 away to Novara last weekend, the Bianconeri will be buoyed by such a convincing victory and will look to take their form into next Sunday’s trip to sixth-placed Modena.

Elsewhere today in the J-Academy, the Under 15s succumbed to a 3-0 reverse at the hands of Genoa, while there was better news from the performance of the club’s Pulcini 2005 side in the Alpignano in Maschera tournament, in which they beat Atalanta 2-1, Cesena 2-0 and drew 2-2 with Torino.
