David Trezeguet arrived in Australia on Thursday to participate in the official launch of July’s International Champions Cup 2016 tournament, a friendly competition in which Juventus will play Melbourne Victory and Tottenham Hotspur.
Joined by former England international Ledley King and ex-Spain midfielder Jose Luis Caminero, representing Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid respectively, Trezeguet had the opportunity to try his hand at Australian Rules football and visit the Melbourne Cricket Ground, where Juventus will be running out during their stay Down Under.
The Bianconeri will kick off their tournament with a meeting against hosts Melbourne Victory on 23 July, before facing Spurs three days later.
