A NEW TEST AGAINST LAZIO

"In August it was a weird match, we lost concentration on the goals, then we were able to make a comeback during an excellent half-hour spell, but again we suffered another lapse in concentration."

"Tomorrow we can't afford Lazio an inch, they are a strong team and very organised, who try to take advantage of mistakes and close the spaces well. Simone Inzaghi is proving to be one of the best young coaches, it wasn't easy to take on a side like Lazio. He has great managerial qualities and will certainly have a good career."

AN IMPORTANT POINT IN THE SEASON

"Our goal is to win and arrive in March in the best condition. This season will be even more difficult, because the opponents, including Lazio are angrier and really want to beat Juventus. Tomorrow, we are going to playing one of the top-six in the league and it will be interesting to see what happens.

"We have to raise our game in order to face the season in the best way possible and make sure that we are at our sharpest, as this has cost us previously. We must think especially about the defensive part of our game during matches, because our previous lack of focus cost us two points and this needs to be improved."

TEAM SELECTION

"Tomorrow Buffon will play as he has returned in optimal condition from the national team. Mandzukic is fine, I believe that he played for Croatia without any problems, he has trained and he can play. I will also have [Sami] Khedira at my disposal and he could even start the match. I haven't seen Bentancur yet, whilst you could say that Dybala has been on holiday!"

"Higuain has worked very well these past two weeks at Vinovo, improving his condition. I'm sure that he will have a great month. He is very motivated to do well for Juventus and to play for Argentina at the World Cup."

"Pjanic will come back into the fold on Wednesday for the Champions League, I don't want to risk him tomorrow. Regarding Marchisio, he is partly working with the squad and partly on his personalised training programme For De Sciglio, Howedes and Pjaca it will take some more time."
