Enjoying her first season in black and white, Barbara Bonansea is officially our first Goal Of The Month winner of the 2017/18 season!

Making the top five were Gonzalo Higuain’s clinical finish against Chievo, Fabrizio Caligara’s free-kick for the Primavera against Genoa, Paulo Dybala’s stunner way to Sassuolo, Miralem Pjanic’s peach in the derby against Torino and, of course, Bonansea’s award-winning strike in Juventus Women’s 3-0 win away to Atalanta Mozzanica on 30 September… just in time!
The power and endurance to run from her own half of the pitch all the way into the box; the skill to dart past half of the opposition defence; the focus to finish off the job with a cool and classy shot beyond the keeper: everything about Bonansea’s goal made it an extremely worthy winner, as recognised by the majority of supporters on social media.
