International Academy coaching course begins

Monday 27 February was a big day at Juventus Stadium, as the first Juventus International Academy Coaches Clinic got underway. J|Academy ambassador Gianluca Pessotto stopped by to officially begin proceedings at the training course for coaches from our International Academies.

Coaches from all over the world (China, Poland, Cyprus, Australia, Dubai, Russia, Tunisia and Bosnia and Herzegovina) met in Turin to begin a packed session looking at how the Bianconeri work.

The course will run from Monday to Friday this week with a combination of classroom and field sessions split between Juventus Stadium and the club’s football schools.

The theoretical lectures in the morning will be held at Juventus Stadium and run by the coaching staff, fitness coaches and educational therapists.

The International Academy coaches will continue their training on the pitch in the afternoons, as they observe sessions at the Bianconeri football schools.

The coaches will also have the chance to attend Tuesday night’s Coppa Italia semi-final first leg against Napoli in the wonderful surroundings of Juventus Stadium.
