Central and South America are steeped in football history and tradition and the passion for the Bianconeri is constantly on the rise.

This is in no small part thanks to the Juventus Academy programme that is being run in the region at present.

COLOMBIA & GUATEMALA

Colombia is the scene of a highly successful “Year-Round Training” course in Bogota involving a total of 150 youngsters who are training according to Juventus methodologies over the course of a calendar year.

That’s not all: the South American country has also just hosted a Training Camp – the eighth in the last two and a half years – at which 85 children and a delegation of 11 Colombian youngsters took part at the Juventus Summer Camp in Vinovo.

“Year-Round Training” is also going strong in Guatemala, with approximately 200 children subscribing to the programme. Some of them (Under 10 and Under12 teams) participated in the Disney World Cup in Orlando a few days ago, reaching the finals in both age categories.

MORE TO COME

Meanwhile, over the last three months, there has been a “Year-Round Training” course involving 90 children in Argentina. The same initiative will launch too in Costa Rica, in the capital San José, in September.

Last but not least, the Juventus Academy programme is on the horizon too in Uruguay, where the first Training Camp will take place next February.
