Juventus discovered their 2017/18 UEFA Champions League group stage opponents on Thursday night in Monaco and there will be some familiar trips for the Bianconeri.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side were drawn against Barcelona, Olympiacos and Sporting Clube de Portugal as they begin the road to Kiev in Group D.

Juve will be facing Barcelona for the second home-and-away series of the calendar year having eliminated the Catalans 3-0 on aggregate in the 2016/17 UCL quarter-finals. Juve also met the Blaugrana in the 2015 Champions League final

The Bianconeri will also be taking a recently-made trip as they face Greek side Olympiacos for the second time in the group stage in the last four seasons.

However, the third and final team drawn against Juventus will represent a new opponent as they have never faced Sporting Clube de Portugal in UEFA Champions League competition.

Stay tuned for the full schedule of matches in the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League group stage.
