Miralem Pjanic was all smiles after helping Juventus book their place in the Coppa Italia semi-finals with a 'deserved' victory over AC Milan.
The Bosnian curled in one of his free-kick specials to put the Bianconeri 2-0 up in the first half, before the visitors pulled one back after the break.
“Perhaps we should have put the game to bed earlier but the main thing is we're through,” the 26-year-old said after the final whistle. “We deserved to win it and we could easily have scored several more. We're pleased with the result but now we have to think about the league again.”
Napoli stand between Juventus and a third Coppa Italia final in as many years but Miralem insists Juve are undeterred by the prospect of facing Maurizio Sarri's side.
“Napoli are a fantastic team who play wonderful football but we want to win the cup.”
Of more immediate importance is Sunday's trip to Sassuolo, with Pjanic promising a top Juve display in Reggio Emilia.
“I'm sure we'll play well and show people what we're about. You'll see a great Juve performance!”
