A group of 40 children from regions in central Italy struck by the earthquake which claimed the lives of over 250 people in August 2016 were invited as special guests to Turin today for a once in a lifetime experience at Juventus Stadium and J|Museum.

The visit, a collaboration between charitable organisation Nazionale Italiana dell’Amicizia (NIDA) and Juventus, saw the youngsters and their families take in a unique journey through Bianconeri history.

This weekend, the travelling party from the towns of Arquata, Accumoli and Amatrice will be treated to a tour of the city before taking part in the “OlimpiNIDAi”, a youth games event open to the public. The event is set to be rounded off by a friendly match between volunteers from NIDA and the fathers of the children from the areas affected by the tragedy last summer.
