A lot can change in six years.

Football always seems to live by its own timeline and at its own pace. Teams beginning a new season with a new-look line-up with little resemblance to the one that finished the previous campaign is not uncommon in the modern era.

Now consider what has happened at Juventus. Of course, many things have changed about the Old Lady in the last six years. The secrets to success in Turin can be found in many places - excellent planning, shrewd management, innovation in all departments of the club to name but a few - but one on-field constant has remained.

They are Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Barzagli, Claudio Marchisio, Giorgio Chiellini, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Leonardo Bonucci. The former five all started the first ever game at Juventus Stadium in September 2011 against Parma, the latter has gone on to make more appearances than any other outfield player.

Their contributions have brought unrelenting success, their legacies will live on forever. Six men, six consecutive Scudetti each.
