Massimiliano Allegri and Joao Cancelo faced the media in Juve's pre-match press conference before their Champions League tie against Valencia tomorrow night:
Allegri & Cancelo: "We want to qualify"
A difficult game
"We are looking to qualify tomorrow and then finish in first place. Valencia has grown compared to the first leg, especially on a mental level. Now they have confidence because they have only lost one game out of 10 and that means that are strong and organised. They are a solid team which plays a lot on the counter. It won't be easy, because even if we're winning they still have the quality to get back into it, so we will have to be careful and not fall asleep like we did against Man Utd."
"Matuidi and Chiellini will come back in, but it won't be easy to leave someone out because everyone is playing well, on Saturday the team responded well. Cuadrado for example is also learning to play box-to-box and that will be very useful for us. The important thing is that everyone has the common goal of getting to the latter stages of every competition. De Sciglio took a knock and I will evaluate tomorrow whether to put him on the bench or not. I'm expecting a good game from Dybala, as well as the whole team. We have improved up speeding up our play but we have to keep going and we're working on it."
The “organised disorder”
"In front of us we have players who occupy all the spaces and I really like this 'disorder', because it takes away the strengths of the opponents. On Saturday, we got a few things wrong in the final third, but we are improving."
The news on Vialli
"I wish Gianluca all the very best. He has shown to be a fighter both on and off the pitch. In these 'matches' it takes a lot of character in order to beat the opponent but I'm sure that Luca will do it."
A special match
"The game against United was strange, we had a lot of chances, playing better than them, but we lost, football is like this sometimes. Tomorrow will be difficult, Valencia is a great team, they are excellent individually and is organised as a collective. Playing games like these are always special and it will be especially for me, since I played there for three years, but the emotions will have to be put aside, because we need the three points."
