Juventus Women made it three Serie A wins from three after victory against Roma Women today. The Bianconere recorded an impressive away victory, winning 0-4 on the road, thanks to a first half Benedetta Glionna goal and a stunning second half hat-trick from Eniola Aluko.
The Bianconere started strong and were handed an early opportunity after just five minutes when Claudia Ciccotti handled Aluko's cross in the area. Cristina Girelli stepped up to take the spotkick, but it was parried by Roma keeper, Rosalia Pipitone to keep the scores level. However, the Bianconere didn't let up and on 27 minutes they finally went in front, Benedetta Glionna received the ball from Aluko and from a tight angle slotted the ball into the bottom corner to make it 0-1.
Into the second half and Aluko doubled Juve's lead on 68 minutes when Girelli's shot from the edge of the box was deflected off of the English attacker to make it 0-2. Just three minutes later and Aluko would ripple the back of the net once more, some great work from Barbara Bonansea on the left saw the Italian role the ball across to the Juve number 9 in the box to tap home.
Four minutes from time and the Aluko show was complete, Bonansea was once more involved and she touched the ball onto the Juve forward who was unmarked at the far post to make it four and seal a sensational hat-trick.
Juventus Women return to action next weekend when they host Atalanta Mozzanica on Saturday 27 October.
