"I'm pleased but I must say that we all did well," the Italian began. "We played the perfect game."
The defender also revealed what goes into a scoreline of this kind.
"First of all, it's the approach and also how we started the second half, keeping the tempo high without letting off. The rate the games are coming at helps us: we have a lot of fixtures, so we have to stay ready.
"The key to always being on the ball," De Sciglio continued, "is working as a team, having an objective in mind and everyone moving in the same direction. Of course, the results help, but we're always hungry for more."
Mattia concluded with a word on Higuain's goalscoring feats: "Gonzalo is a superstar. I feel like laughing when he's criticised after not scoring for a couple of games."
