GETTING OFF TO A GOOD START

"The important thing is that we came away from the match with three points. It was essential to get off to a good start immediately and to show our intent for the season and we did that.

"We got the win, albeit in tough circumstances. The season has only just begun and we still have to get up to full speed, but we're on the right track.

"I have always said that I am able to adapt to different roles. If the coach sees me as more of a midfielder, then I'm ready to play in that position. The priority is the team, so I'm at the coach's disposal and I have the desire to learn and to give it my all."
