Randstad's pre-Christmas event entitled, "Christmas. Waiting For" was hosted at Allianz Stadium this afternoon, in the company of Juventus' Federico Bernardeschi. Together with journalist, Giorgio Porrà, Bernardeschi spoke about not just about the game of football, but also addressing the issues of awareness, concentration and focus on objectives.
"I think the mental aspect is fundamental - he said - At Juve you experience a beautiful and particular world, which makes you grow in all respects, not just football. Everyone that works at Juventus gives you a hand to help you progress, and being intelligent means understanding where you are. Here everyone asks you to give it your all, but they also give you what you need to express yourself to the fullest. I'm really happy to be a part of Juventus."
Bernardeschi also spoke about his childhood: "I have always been very active. I believe that children need to express their talent, I was lucky but I made the most of what I had with determination, humility and good will."
During this intense chat, Bernardeschi touched upon many themes, including the most personal and profound: "Ours is a wonderful job, because we are able to make people feel emotions with our talent, but we also rightly have some responsibility." With awareness, personality, and talent being just some of the topics discussed during the Randstad event.
And then, the beauty: "Football is beautiful, everything from the simplest trick to the most difficult. For me, my favourite thing is to provide an assist to a teammate, so that you can use your talent to help someone score and then celebrate together."
Finally,: "The most important thing in sport is talent, and I only recommend one thing to youngsters: To have fun, always!"
