Ingvild Isaksen will never forget her 29th birthday!
The Norway international came off the bench to score a 75th-minute game-winner as the Juventus Women won 1-0 at Res Roma to move to a perfect 13 for 13 in Serie A.
A tight first half saw neither side able to gain an advantage with Sanni Franssi going close on 30 minutes through a cross from Benedetta Glionna.
Just before halftime Martina Rosucci forced a great save out of the Res Roma goalkeeper, and the Juventus Women went to half-time tied 0-0.
In the second half, it was looking as if Rita Guarino's side would perhaps drop their first points of the season, but second half substitute Isaksen, on her 29th birthday, latched onto the end of a Lisa Boattin free kick to score her first Serie A goal for Juventus in a story that would be something out of a movie.
Barbara Bonansea would hit the post for the Juventus Women late on, but the match ended 1-0 in favor of the visitors.
The Juventus Women stay top of Serie A with their 13th win out of 13 matches and they will be back in action on Saturday, 17 February at the Ale&Ricky Pitch in Vinovo against Empoli.
