With a first Champions League victory of the season in the books, the Bianconeri returned to Turin this morning and checked in at JTC to commence preparations for their second away trip in the space of four days: Sunday evening’s Serie A match against Frosinone.
As always, those players involved for the majority of the previous night’s action underwent a warmdown session in the gym, while the rest of the squad took to the training pitches.
MEDICAL UPDATES FOR KHEDIRA AND COSTA
Having been forced off the field during the first half of Wednesday’s match, Sami Khedira underwent tests that revealed he had pulled the flexor muscles in his left thigh.
Douglas Costa too withdrew early from yesterday’s action and his condition will be evaluated tomorrow.
