Since Sassuolo’s arrival in Serie A, the two teams have met on 11 occasions, with the Bianconeri having dropped points on just two occasions. The last five meetings have resulted in back-to-backs wins, with a total of 17 goals being scored.

Here’s a brief look back at the last five encounters:

Ronaldo Opens His Account

The 2-1 win earlier this season was a day to remember for all Juventini, as Cristiano Ronaldo officially opened up his account for the Old Lady with two strikes at goal. Those two goals would be the first in his run to the top of the goalscoring charts in Serie A, going into this weekend's outing.

In Seventh Heaven

Juventus moved one step closer to retaining their seventh Scudetto, when they put a magical seven goals past Andrea Consigli. Gonzalo Higuain bagged a hat-trick, Sami Khedira a brace and a goal each from Miralem Pjanic and Alex Sandro capped off a wonderful afternoon in Turin.

Dybala Hat-trick

The most recent game at Mapei resulted in a 3-1 win courtesy of a Dybala hat-trick. The Argentine put on a display that many will remember, finding the back of the net in the 16th, 49th, and 63rd minute.

A Solid Win

Two first half goals by Higuain and Khedira in the ninth and 25th minute saw the Bianconeri ease past the Neroverdi with a 2-0 win, in January 2017.

Higuain Double

In September 2016, another 3-1 victory was recorded by the Bianconeri, this time at home. Higuain struck twice in six minutes, with Pjanic nabbing Juve’s third strike in the 27th minute. Luca Antei scored the only goal of the game for the visitors.
