Gianluigi Buffon has set many records in his time at Juventus, and he is now on the casp of breaking one after he equalled Alessandro del Piero's record of Serie A appearances in the history of the club.

Upon stepping onto the field, Gigi recorded his 478th Serie A appearance for the Bianconeri - a number equal to that previously held by Il Pinturicchio. The next time he steps onto the field, he will make history once again.
