For a few days in Uzbekistan there was an important black and white presence: we are talking about the Juventus Academy in Tashkent, inaugurated on 7 May at the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent - TTPU, on the occasion for the celebrations of the tenth anniversary of the opening of the headquarters in Tashkent of Turin’s Polytechnic.
Preceded by a joint press conference, with representatives of Juventus, the rector of the university TTPU (Dr. Sharipov) and the people involved in the new project were all present at the inauguration, which confirmed how Juventus intends to bring the values of life and education to Uzbekistan.
In the presence of three coaches from Italy, a Juventus Training Camp was held in which Uzbek students were able to have a first contact with the Juventus methodology. Starting from August, the sports facility of the Politecnico, in which the activity took place, will be the permanent location of the Juventus Academy Year-Round Training activity.
The Juventus Academy in Tashkent, is academy number 56 in the world and the 17th in Asia, a continent where the Academy project has grown so much in recent months, joins the growing list of projects already present in China (Zhuhai, Nanjing, Meishan, Tianjin and Shanghai), Japan (Tokyo), Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh) and the Middle East (Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia).
