THREE CONSECUTIVE QUARTER-FINALS FOR JUVE: Juventus reached the Champions League quarter-finals for the third consecutive season, the best result in the competition since they succeeded in four successive seasons between 1996 and 1999.

DUTCH IN THE QUARTERS FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2006/07: Ajax is the first Dutch team to have reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League since PSV succeeded in 2006/07. In fact, Ajax is in this phase for the first time since 2002/03, when they were eliminated by Milan.

AJAX, A YOUNG TEAM: Ajax’s recently fielded a staring XI that had the lowest average age among the teams still in the Champions League (24 years, 202 days).
