It’s been a dream debut year in Italy for Eniola Aluko, who finished off the season with the Scudetto trophy as well as the Coppa Italia, all while scoring important goals along the way.

Today, Aluko addressed the fans in a live question and answer session on @juventusfcwomen, where she covered an array of topics and recapped her first year in Turin.

"Life in Turin is nice, the pace of life is very different to London and I'm a lot more relaxed living here. I’ve also travelled Italy as much as possible, it's the most beautiful country I've lived in.”

She then went on to touch on what has impressed her the most about the club and the standard of the league in the country: “The level of professionalism. Juve have set inspirational standards in terms of facilities, training, nutrition, stadium, to push other teams to do the same. It’s amazing to be at a club where I can keep progressing.

“The competition is there and that shows after ending the season only one point ahead. Ultimately to attract the best players there needs be a focus towards a professional league like in England and how they’ve achieved that is by the FA setting criteria."

After scoring 14 goals in her debut Serie A Femminile campaign, there was one particular strike that stood out for her – the goal in the final match of the season which saw the Bianconere crowned league champions.

“My favourite goal? The goal in the final game (vs Hellas Verona), as it was the match that clinched the title and it was the last goal of the league season."

Her goals this season has seen her form a great understanding alongside fellow strike partner Barbara Bonansea and Cristiana Girelli: “I’m glad that the fans can see that. All three of us have done very well this season, both in taking responsibility and in scoring goals. We have a good understanding off the pitch and we talk honestly about the game and what we can improve."
