A number of Bianconeri players took to the same field but on opposite ends during their international fixtures.

It’s been an exciting round of fixtures for the Bianconeri on the international stage, with black and white derbies happening at two different stadiums, while Bentancur and Szczesny were also in action for their nations.

Last night, Germany and Holland faced off in a Euro 2020 Qualifier, where Juventus teammates Matthijs de Ligt and Emre Can were also present. The 20-year-old Dutch defender started and featured in the full 90 minutes as the Netherlands claimed an impressive 4-2 victory on the road, while Can was an unused substitute.

Elsewhere, Alex Sandro and Cuadrado came face-to-face in a friendly match between Copa America champions Brazil and Colombia. Both players started for their nations, as the game ended in a 2-2 draw.

Bentancur was also on the field for Uruguay against Costa Rica, where he helped his nation claim a 2-1 victory at Stadio Nacional in Costa Rica. He came off the in the 75th minute.

Returning back to Europe, Szczesny was an unused sub during Poland’s 2-2 draw to Slovenia in the Euro 2020 qualifier. Tonight, Cristiano Ronaldo, Matuidi, and Demiral are all expected to be in action for their respective nations. Good luck, lads!
