Douglas Costa declared himself happy with Juventus' “convincing” 2-0 win over Bologna after playing his part in the Bianconeri's successful first outing of 2019. “I'm delighted. It was important for us to play well in our first game back after the break,” the Brazilian began. “It wasn't an easy match and the pitch wasn't in the best condition either but we stayed focused on the task and won in convincing fashion.” Douglas was uncontainable at times on the night and made a major contribution to the second goal as his deflected shot ended up becoming an assist for Moise Kean. “It's all about doing your bit for the team and that's what I'm here for,” he stressed. “Now we'll prepare to face AC Milan in a hugely important match. The first piece of silverware is on the line and we must be fully focused.”
