Both Cuadrado and Paulo Dybala are through to the next round of the Copa America, after helping their respective nations claim a victory in the final group match of the tournament.

Cuadrado started from the very first minute in Colombia’s fixture against Paraguay, seeing him lead an attacking trio alongside Falcao and Diaz. The smiling Colombian featured for 58 minutes for Los Cafeteros, as he was replaced by James Rodriguez.

Colombia ran out 1-0 winners with Cuellar scoring the only goal of the game just after the half hour mark. Their win means they topped their group which consisted of Argentina, Qatar, and Paraguay.

Finishing in second place in the group, and also progressing to the next round of the tournament, is Dybala’s Argentina. The Albiceleste qualified for the next phase of the tournament by defeating guest nation Qatar 2-0, with goals from Lautaro Martinez and Sergio Aguero wrapping up the win.

La Joya was introduced into the match in the 72nd minute, and his entrance made an almost immediate impact as he found the assist which led to Aguero’s goal in the 82nd minute.

Argentina will meet Venezuela in the quarter-finals on 28 June, while Cuadrado and Colombia are still waiting to find out who their opponent will be. Tonight, Rodrigo Bentancur (who turns 22 tomorrow) will feature in his final group match against Chile.
