Five Inter-Juve's in Scudetto-winning years

Inter-Juve on Saturday evening will be the Bianconeri's final game for April, when just four games will remain until the end of the season. Juventus head into the match with the Scudetto already won, whilst Inter sit in third place, plus five ahead of the chasing pack for Champions League places.

Here is a look back at five decisive victories for the Bianconeri in the Derby d'Italia at the San Siro in the years that have seen Juve lift the Scudetto:

1976-77 0-2

This game goes down as one of the most important Derby d'Italia's in history. The reason for this is the fixture list, with the game being played three matchdays until the end of the season, and Juventus hold only a one point advantage over Torino who are second in the standings.

The Bianconeri know that just one slip-up could compromise the Scudetto. However, a goal in each half secures a 2-0 win for Juve with the goals coming from players with Inter links, Sergio Gori and Marco Tardelli.

1983-84: 1-2

Once again in 1983-84, Inter-Juventus is played on the third to last round. Juve have a margin of safety on Roma and at the San Siro they confirm their leadership on the league. Everything happens in the first half with goals from Antonio Cabrini, Michel Platini and Alessandro Altobelli for Inter, who would then go on to play for the Bianconeri.

2005-06: 1-2

The same score is again recorded in the 2005-06 championship and in two more subsequent Scudetto years. Inter-Juve takes place on Matchday 25, with a still a good part of the season left. Fabio Capello's team is ahead of Roberto Mancini's by nine and it proves to be a thrilling game with unforgettable goals.

After a goalless first half, Zlatan Ibrahimovic puts Juventus ahead, turning home Mauro Camoranesi's pass across goal, only for Walter Samuel to equalise with a header on a corner. Then up stepped Alessandro Del Piero to unleash an unstoppable free-kick five minutes from time that leavesJulio Cesar rooted to the spot and seal the game for Juventus.

2012-13: 1-2

Another 1-2 scoreline, this time in the second of Antonio Conte's Scudettos. The Bianconeri field a rotated team to prepare for their Champions League tie but the squad still prove to be too strong for Inter.

Fabio Quagliarella opens the scoring with a formidable long-range shot in the first half, with Rodrigo Palacio levelling for Inter in the second. However, Quagliarella would have a hand in the match-winner as his pass squared across the box is poked in by Alessandro Matri to seal the game.

2014-15: 1-2

Again a 1-2 win and again a rotated Bianconeri team with eyes on the Champions League.

The game is played on 27 April just as tomorrow's encounter will be and with the league already sewn-up. The home team strike first through Mauro Icardi only for the Bianconeri to equalise from the penalty spot before half-time via Claudio Marchisio. A tightly contested second half would be decided by Alvaro Morata inside the final 10 minutes, with an iconic sunglasses celebration to boot!
