Elegance, precision and finesse: these are the words to describe Miralem Pjanic when on the field of play, and, today, we will take a moment to celebrate the midfield maestro as he turns a year older.
Since arriving in Turin in 2016, the Bosnian has asserted himself into the heart of the Bianconeri midfield, conducting play with each touch, move and feint both on and off the ball. His technical qualities and deadly vision on dead-ball situations has seen Pjanic score some brilliant goals, with the most recent coming against Napoli.
Today, Pjanic will be hoping to enjoy a double dose of celebrations as he and his teammates take on Cagliari this evening in a match where they will aim to bring home three points and move one step closer to securing his third successive Scudetto title (and Juventus’ eighth).
